I agree with the argument that those covered by quotas come from backgrounds where going to school and getting educated is unheard of. But it is something that a majority of us who work hard through schools and colleges to get into a suitable career find it difficult to swallow.
I think the solution to this could be just expanding opportunities of education, employment and growth at all. The caste system is like a termite eating into the psyche of India and Indians.

Marriages do happen, whether the above mentioned processes (horoscope matching, photo viewing etc...) happen or not. What about those who fall in love and marry or for that matter elope to marry or are just have their marriages fixed when they are kids?? Also what exactly does nature intend????
I just hope Gujarat is not repeated in Karnataka. The cosmopolitan culture of Bangalore should counter any kind of communal propaganda.
